ABC NewsMAP: Darwin 0800The Northern Territory’s Children’s Commissioner has revealed a longstanding investigation is underway into allegations a child in youth detention has been subjected to inappropriate force and excessive periods of isolation.The NT’s youth justice system has been under the spotlight since a number of escapes and a riot by detainees at Darwin’s former Don Dale Centre culminated in six teenagers being tear-gassed on August 21.
